“Walpole, the luxury trade body that represents some of Britain’s best-known luxury brands including Burberry and Alexander McQueen, has called for entries to its annual Brands of Tomorrow programme, which looks to nurture the next generation of British luxury brands.
Walpole is looking for luxury companies that have a minimum annual turnover of 100,000 pounds, that are no older than 10 years, and demonstrate the highest standards of “quality, design and craftsmanship, together with an aspiration to develop into full Walpole members”.
There are 10 categories in totally, with one new addition for 2016, the Champion of British Luxury Manufacturing, which will be awarded to the British luxury brand most dedicated to supporting luxury manufacturing in the UK. In addition, two awards last seen in 2014 make a return, Digital Innovation in British Luxury and the Champion of British Luxury Overseas awards.”
